We make fitness accessible and easy for everyone.
The word on the STREET.
Letting insiders know what's new on STREETFIT.
What’s New?
-Ms. Eunie Lee showed interest in STREETFIT and was asked to come on board to join the STREETFIT effort as an Intern Administrative Assistant. Welcome. Congratulations!
-I gave Eunie some guidance on how to set up her environment, the standards we set and a first assignment doing outreach prep.
-Eunie gave me guidance on the website which needs a total rebuild and will be done on another server I have decided. One on a CPanel backbone. Why? To give me better traffic insights as we scale.
-Earlier this week I have further simplified and refined a pricing model that links in-house personal training, with pop-up group fitness elegantly.
– In addition to this I worked up some projections of how much the company makes and how much trainers earn from this pricing model which showed promise.
-For Asset Purchases (Stuff we need) I have also looked into getting stencils made to brand yoga mats with the STREETFIT Logo
-For Outsource (Talent hired to do work for us) I have also worked with a designer to re-create logo derivatives as you can see here:
You may recognize that this comes from our original brand logo as you can see here:
Though much has been done to create a minimalist style, much more work needs to be done with the Logo work to hone in the branding correctly. There is meaning behind the logo which can be found here (ask for viewing permission if interested to learn more): click here
-For SEO (free website traffic that’s not free) we also recently were listed in GBP – (A Google Business Profile is a free tool from Google that allows business owners to manage their online presence across Search and Map) and we have some positive reviews. You can see that here: click here
-Other stuff (Tracking) is a formal balance sheet and action item sheet was created to track expenses. These need to be filled in with 2026 data but it’s a start.
-Outsource – I have looked into several designers to do this work in Figma. There are wireframes and user flows to work on first. Then the ful dev buildout which is planed to be in the form of a PWA (A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a type of application built using web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) that provides a native app-like experience within a web browser.) App development is always on my mind – as this is an app-first platform – and I’m looking for the right combination of skills, style, budget to get that puppy started as a MVP (Minimal Viable Product – which means has the bare necessities to get functional and tested.)
-Partnership – One last thing, I’m partnering with a local party rental company called “Bounce Party Mania” led by Roger Chaud by doing some business optimization work for him. He is a great connector and has great connections in the Bergen County NJ area, which can prove helpful for us do pop-ups at local events, etc. His problem: His back end is in total disarray and his small business has growing pains and challenges making it into the majors. By helping him identify weakspots and organize and automate his business, processes and pricing strategy, this will help him as he grows and help us do the same as we grow. While we may have some expertise, he has an established business, with 0.5M in revenue currently, which we would like to see grow to $1M. But he cannot handle that level of business currently so we are helping to increase his throughput, streamlining, putting things in place so he can scale. Maybe through “Bounce Party Mania” we can offer 1-hour fitness bootcamp themed ‘parties’ around New York and New Jersey.
